Orlando, Florida — April 12, 2016 – Joscelyn Ramos Campbell, has been awarded a Tecla Award for Best Sponsored Campaign and Video (CAMPAIGN, MEDIA AND MARKETING) in the 2nd Annual Tecla Awards.  Named after the Spanish-language word for an individual key on a keyboard, the Tecla Awards are the most prestigious national honor highlighting the achievements of top Latino and multicultural content creators.

The award show recognized excellence across thirty-two categories in U.S. Latino online video, blogging, media, marketing and those who create it. The 2nd Annual TECLAS were held on Thursday, April 7, 2016  at ICON Miami nightclub in Miami Beach presented by TELEMUNDO during Hispanicize, the largest U.S. Hispanic marketing, media and entertainment industries event in the nation.

“The Tecla Awards honored some of the very best the industry has to offer, and we couldn’t be more proud of those nominated and awarded last night. It was a night to remember.” said Hispanicize Event founder and creative director Manny Ruiz.

Finalists were determined by a public nominations process and a Tecla Awards Nominations Academy. Winners of the 2016 Tecla Awards were determined by a Tecla Judges Academy comprised of a panel of 30  judges from major U.S. Hispanic brands, senior brand executives, agencies and digital influencers and other experts in the online content development industry.

Joscelyn, owner of Mami of Multiples and Mami Innovative Media, was honored for her continued work with Walt Disney World Resort and LATINA Magazine on the Get Ready to Make Unforgettable Memories Together at Walt Disney World Resort campaign.  Joscelyn and her family appeared in print, social media and online advertisements. The advertorials focused on family travel, vacations and Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The 2nd Annual Tecla Awards reflected the growing state of original programming native to YouTube, Facebook, Vine, Instagram, live broadcasting, blogging and virtually all types of social media platforms.

The 2nd Annual Tecla Awards were held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Hispanicize 2016 Week in Miami, Florida and are held annually at Hispanicize, the largest U.S. Hispanic social media, marketing, media and entertainment industries event in the nation.

The awards are a co-production of the Hispanicize event and the DiMe Media network. The Tecla Awards are being conducted in alliance with Telemundo, the official and exclusive media partner of the awards.
