Named after the Spanish-language word for an individual key on a keyboard, the Tecla Awards are the most prestigious national honor highlighting the achievements of top Latino and multicultural content creators.

The award show recognized excellence across thirty-two categories in U.S. Latino online video, blogging, media, marketing and those who create it. The 2nd Annual TECLAS were held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at ICON Miami nightclub in Miami Beach presented by TELEMUNDO during Hispanicize, the largest U.S. Hispanic marketing, media and entertainment industries event in the nation.

“The Tecla Awards honored some of the very best the industry has to offer, and we couldn’t be more proud of those nominated and awarded last night. It was a night to remember.” said Hispanicize Event founder and creative director Manny Ruiz.

Finalists were determined by a public nominations process and a Tecla Awards Nominations Academy. Winners of the 2016 Tecla Awards were determined by a Tecla Judges Academy comprised of a panel of 30 judges from major U.S. Hispanic brands, senior brand executives, agencies and digital influencers and other experts in the online content development industry.

Joscelyn, owner of Mami of Multiples and Mami Innovative Media, was honored for her continued work with Walt Disney World Resort and LATINA Magazine on the Get Ready to Make Unforgettable Memories Together at Walt Disney World Resort campaign. La Voz Kids #LVKBloggers Day

Mami Innovative Media and Mami of Multiples had the pleasure of working recently with Telemundo to help create a La Voz Kids #LVKBloggers Day for noted bloggers and influencers at Universal Studios Orlando.

Unity in the Community Fest

Clermont, Florida

Mami Innovative Media was the Master of Ceremonies for Unity in the Community Fest .  Hosted by Better Life Worship Center to help feed needy families in Central Florida, the Unity in the Community Fest is a free one-day family extravaganza.

On Saturday October 5, 2013 the Unity in the Community Fest will take place at Clermont’s Waterfront Park. This event is from 9:00am to 2:00pm.  This is an event that will attract thousands of people! Social Media 101 Class at Cooper Memorial Library

Mami Innovative Media hosted a FREE Social Media 101 Class at Cooper Memorial Library for the community to learn the basics about Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more.

First Annual Orlando Teen Mom Event

Mami Innovative Media was a featured speaker at the Teen Mom NYC.com presents the First Annual Orlando Teen Mom Event. The event was open to teen moms of all ages. Chevy Orlando ‘Cruze the City Beautiful’

Orlando, Florida

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of GM in the Southeast, Mami of Multiples, (an entity of Mami Innovative Media), was pleased to host Cruze the City Beautiful #ChevyOrlando. We discovered Orlando, Florida (nicknamed “The City Beautiful”) from the perspective of taking a day off from the theme parks and behind the wheel of a brand new Chevrolet, including the Chevy Volt, Malibu, Sonic andCruze.

Top Orlando bloggers tweeted and took pictures as they cruised around town and blogged about visiting the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tours, eating lunch at the new Prato restaurant, making chocolates at Farris & Foster’s, touring the beautiful Leu Gardens, and eating dinner at the new Fogo de Chao, an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse which recently opened in Orlando.

All the bloggers present had a wonderful time and learned a lot about the new Chevy vehicles and their great functionality for families and business professionals. The event was successful as #ChevyOrlando (the official hashtag used for Cruze the City Beautiful) became a trending topic on Twitter for Orlando the day of the event and had nearly 1 Million impressions!

The “Are You Cook Aware?” roundtable featured national food and lifestyle celebrities, including Kelsey Nixon (host of the Cooking Channel series Kelsey’s Essentials), Lauren Braun Costello (host of AOL’s hit cooking series Pantry Challenge), Dr. Ro Brock (nutrition coach to the Dr. Oz Show), Janice Newell Bissex (co-Founder of MealMakeoverMoms.com), Kantha Shelke, PhD (editor-at-large for Penton Media’s Functional Ingredients) and us.

We were delighted to be part of such a distinguished panel of experts to discuss the latest trends in purchasing, preparing and eating food. Mami of Multiples and Mami Innovative Media had the great pleasure of being a conference advisory board member and speaker at Hispanicize 2011 so we were happy to once again being speaking at Hispanicize 2012 on a panel about ‘Creating and Scaling up Your Blog’. We had the wonderful privilege of being sponsored by General Motors because of Chevy and GM in the Southeast and we answered many questions from new and veteran bloggers on topics related to everything from monetizing blogs to working with brands.

Hispanicize was truly an event that key brands and influential bloggers and media came together under one roof. As a multi-cultural professional, one of the many aspects that we loved about Hispanicize was that it brought so many recognizable brands and companies that wanted to engage with the Latino and multi-cultural market. Breakfast en Familia con McDonald’s #CFLMeEncanta

Orlando, Florida

Mami Innovative co-hosted with McDonald’s and the Central Florida Latina Bloggers Group, Breakfast en Familia con McDonald’s #CFLMeEncanta.  The objective was for attendees (and those participating online) to learn about simple nutritional tips for busy families on-the-go, try the new Blueberry Banana Nut Oatmeal and other selections from the 300 calories menu.

Those that followed on Twitter using the hashtag #CFLMeEncanta during the event won prize packs which the attendees received that contained health conscious products, i.e. yoga mats, sweatband, wristbands, etc. The two hour event was successful, led to nearly 1 Million impressions, and a great conversation about healthy living!

Niche Mommy Conference

New Orleans, Louisiana

Mami Innovative Media (and Mami of Multiples) was a conference speaker and conference media partner for Niche Mommy 2012 in New Orleans, LA.  Our fellow co-panelists were Sili from My Mamihood  and Yadira from El Club de las Diosas on a session called  ‘Leveraging Brand Relationships for Conference Sponsorship and Other Paid Opportunities’.  The following is response to the session by session attendee and blogger, Teresa Foskey from Making it All Work:

The session really helped me, as well as many others, to connect the dots with information we already had. There were so many “Ah-ha” moments during this session it was amazing. I felt like so many questions I had about monetizing my blog were answered. These girls are so knowledgeable and genuinely want to see other bloggers succeed. This session had everyone still talking about what a wonderful wealthy of information was learned the next morning at breakfast. I urge you to follow them because they are destined for great things in the future and I, for one, can’t wait to see what they will do.
